3D Bead It Up is a spray-on SiO2 sealant that adds gloss, shine, slickness and a layer of water-beading protection in one quick step. Use it as a ceramic coating booster, as a topper over wax or sealant, or on its own as a stand-alone sealant. We carry 3D Bead It Up in 16 oz and 1 gallon sizes: the 16 oz for the home garage and the gallon for detail shops that use it on every car.

How 3D Bead It Up Works

3D made this formula in its own lab, and some of its ingredients are ones 3D invented itself. Cross-linking polymer technology with SiO2 polymers creates a strong bond to any smooth surface. The result is a super hydrophobic finish that beads water like crazy and leaves the paint feeling slick and slippery.

3D markets it as a coating booster and topper, but the bond is strong enough that it can stand on its own as a dedicated sealant. Many spray-on protectants leave the paint feeling tacky or rubbery, or turn it into a dust magnet. This formula is made not to. It also adds UV protection, and the tight water beading helps cut down on water spots.

Where You Can Use 3D Bead It Up

3D says this spray works on paint, glass, chrome, polished aluminum, all types of trim and all types of wheels, plus exterior and interior plastic surfaces. It also works on gel coat boats, motorhomes, trailers and all types of aircraft.

How to Use 3D Bead It Up

1. Start with a clean car. Use it on a dry car, or as a drying agent right after you wash.
2. Work one panel at a time. Spray a light mist of 3D Bead It Up onto the surface.
3. Spread it with a clean microfiber towel.
4. Buff the panel with a second clean, dry towel to a clear, even shine.

Tip: For best performance, make sure the surface is free of contaminants first. We carry Japanese clay bars in fine, medium and heavy cut: Magna Shine White Fine Cut, Source Chemical Gray Medium and Source Chemical Purple Heavy Duty. Don’t use a heavy clay bar unless you’re ready for light paint correction afterward.
