Description

3D Headlight Restore GLW Series, 8 oz Headlight Restoration Polish

3D Headlight Restore brings dull, hazy and yellowed headlights back to clear without a sanding kit or heavy equipment. 3D formulated this GLW Series headlight restoration polish to remove heavy oxidation, yellowing, haze, fogginess and surface scratches from plastic headlight lenses. It comes ready to use in an 8 oz bottle and is made in the USA.

How 3D Headlight Restore Works

Most headlight lenses today are plastic, and years of sun and weather turn them cloudy and yellow. That haze does more than look bad: it cuts down the light that reaches the road at night. 3D Headlight Restore cuts through that oxidation and the fine scratches on top of it to bring back optical clarity, so the headlights look better and shine brighter.

3D describes it as a simple two-step process. The product polishes the lens clear, then leaves a seal behind for long-lasting protection against future wear and environmental damage. You can work it by hand with an applicator or towel, or with a small polisher if you have a lot of headlights to do.

What makes this one worth keeping in the garage:

  • Removes heavy oxidation, yellowing, haze and fogginess
  • Takes out light surface scratches on plastic headlight lenses
  • Restores optical clarity for better visibility and light output at night
  • Polishes and seals for long-lasting protection
  • No heavy tools or equipment needed; works by hand or with a polisher
  • Ready to use, with no mixing
  • 8 oz bottle, made in the USA

Who Uses 3D Headlight Restore

Detailers add headlight restoration to their service menu because yellow headlights are one of the first things a customer notices. Dealerships and used car reconditioning shops use it to make trade-ins look newer on the lot, and body shops use it to match the headlights to fresh paint. It’s also simple enough for a car owner doing one set of headlights in the driveway.

How to Use 3D Headlight Restore

  1. Clean the headlight and let it dry. Work on one headlight at a time.
  2. If you’re using a polisher, mask the paint and trim around the headlight first.
  3. Shake well before use.
  4. Apply 2 to 3 dime-sized drops onto a foam applicator, microfiber towel or polishing pad.
  5. Work the lens with light to medium pressure in slow, overlapping back-and-forth passes.
  6. Wipe off the excess with a clean, soft microfiber towel.

Tip: our 3 inch wool pads and the 3D 3.5″ Light Purple Spider-Cut Foam Pads fit small headlight jobs on a polisher. For hand work, use our microfiber applicator pads, and wipe off with our edgeless microfiber towels. You can also browse all our 3D Car Care Products.
