3D ACA Pro Pack: ACA 500 Compound and ACA 520 Polish
The 3D ACA Pro Pack puts both steps of 3D’s two-step ACA paint correction system in one order: 3D ACA 500 X-Tra Cut Compound for step 1 and 3D ACA 520 Finishing Polish for step 2. It’s the combo for body shops and detailers who want the cut and the finish from the same body-shop-safe line, in matching sizes. Pick 8 oz bottles to try the system, 32 oz bottles for the detail cart, or 1-gallon jugs for full-time shop use.
Both products are built on 3D’s own Alpha Ceramic Alumina (ACA) abrasive in a water-based formula. ACA 500 uses it to level the paint fast with low heat, and ACA 520 uses an ultra-fine version to take out the holograms and swirls the compound step leaves behind. Both are silicone-free, filler-free, and free of OSHA-regulated crystalline silica, so they’re safe in a body shop around fresh paint. No fillers also means no dye-back on dark colors after the car leaves the shop (dye-back is when swirls hidden by fillers show up again after a few washes or in the sun).

How to Use the 3D ACA Pro Pack
Step 1, cut. Sand to your desired grit. Put a wool pad on the polisher; the 3D 8″ Yellow X-Cut Lambswool Pad is made for this system. Set the speed within 3D’s preferred range of 100 to 1,800 RPM. Apply enough ACA 500 for a 2′ x 2′ section, and buff with slow, overlapping passes until the sanding marks are gone. Wipe the panel clean with a microfiber towel.
Step 2, finish. Switch to a foam pad, either a 3D Light Purple Foam Pad or a 3D Black Foam Finishing Pad. Set the polisher between 600 and 1,200 RPM, 3D’s preferred range for 520. Work ACA 520 across the same 2′ x 2′ section, keeping the pad flat, until the holograms, swirls, and wheel marks are gone. Wipe off the residue and check the panel under an LED light held at a 45-degree angle.
Tip: Keep one pad for the compound and another for the polish so compound doesn’t carry into your finishing step.
