The price and product are great. I have a 15 year old car with black carpet faded gray in several places. I tested the spray on the floor mats and they came out great. I touched up the interior carpet next and it looks new. To prep, all I did was vacuum before using the spray, and I taped the edges with some masking tape. It dried quickly, no smell, and the carpet feels just like it did before. It did not get crunchy or anything.
