Description
Short Handle Wheel Brush With Extra-Long 3.75 Inch Soft Bristles
The Short Handle Wheel Brush has extra-long 3.75-inch soft bristles with flagged tips, so it reaches deeper into the wheel and cleans the wheel face better and faster than a brush with 2-inch bristles. It’s a wheel and body brush in one: use it on custom wheels, lower body panels, and engine bays.
Detailers find plenty of other uses for it, too. Some use it to brush a water-based tire gel between the large knobs on off-road tires, and some use it just to save time on large truck tires.
How the Short Handle Wheel Brush Is Made
The soft synthetic bristles are split at the tips (flagged) for a soft touch on sensitive wheels and rims, and they easily remove tough dirt, debris, and brake dust. The salt-and-pepper bristles also make it easy to keep one brush set aside for paintwork only.
The handle is contoured to fit your hand for comfortable grip, powerful cleaning, and less fatigue during long scrubbing jobs. The Short Handle Wheel Brush handle is cast from durable, abrasion-resistant plastic, built to last through years of rugged detailing use.
What makes this one worth keeping in the garage:
- Extra-long 3.75″ soft, flagged bristles that reach deeper into the wheel
- Cleans intricate wheel designs and patterns
- Scrubs away brake dust, dirt, road grime, oil, and grease
- Soft on chrome, polished, painted, and powder-coated wheels
- Contoured short handle for comfortable, low-fatigue scrubbing
- Rugged, abrasion-resistant plastic handle and heavy-duty construction
Where to Use the Short Handle Wheel Brush

How to Use the Short Handle Wheel Brush
Spray your wheel cleaner on a cool wheel, such as our 3D Wheel Kleen. Work the Short Handle Wheel Brush across the wheel face and around the spokes, letting the long bristles reach into the openings. Rinse the wheel well before the cleaner dries.
For the barrel behind the spokes, use our 17 Inch Tampico Wheel Brush. For the tires, use a hard brush like our Small Head Tire Brush, and keep the wheel brush and tire brush separate so the tire brush doesn’t carry sand onto the next wheel. To clean and detail around the lug nuts and painted calipers, use our 10″ Boar’s Hair Detail Brush.
Tip: On knobby tires, apply 3D Tire Shine with an applicator, then lightly brush it in with the Short Handle Wheel Brush.
For the paint, wash with a mitt like our 3D Chenille Wash Mitt or our Double Sided Chenille Wash Mitt. See all of our wheel cleaning supplies.
