The Hi-Tech Vortex JR (V-050) is the mini version of the Vortex air cleaning gun. Hook it to your air compressor, and it spins the air into a high-velocity vortex that blasts dirt, dust, debris, and moisture out of hard-to-reach places, inside and outside the vehicle. No water and no chemicals. The compact size makes it a good fit for tight interiors, cramped engine bays, and small shops with limited work space.
How the Hi-Tech Vortex JR Works
Inside the white rigid plastic cone sits a flexible, counter-weighted tube. When you squeeze the trigger, the tube whips around in a tornado-like motion. The cone covers a larger area than air coming straight from the compressor, yet it stays targeted enough to put the air power right where you need it.
The Hi-Tech Vortex JR runs on an air compressor operating between 60 and 90 psi and connects with a 1/4″ air inlet. It blows debris out into the open where you can vacuum it up, and it blasts water out of crevices, so you spend less time hand-drying.
Hi-Tech Vortex JR vs. a Regular Blow Gun
A regular blow gun shoots a straight, narrow stream of air. It blows water and dust all over, and you end up going over the same spots again and again. The spinning air from the Hi-Tech Vortex JR covers more area at once and moves water and dust in a controlled way.

How to Use the Hi-Tech Vortex JR
Connect the Hi-Tech Vortex JR to your compressor hose and set the compressor between 60 and 90 psi. Squeeze the trigger and work in sweeping passes. Blow the debris out into the open, then vacuum it up.
Wear eye and ear protection, since the gun is made to blast debris out of tight spaces.
To clean the Hi-Tech Vortex JR, put the nozzle in a bucket of soapy water and squeeze the trigger once or twice to flush dirt out of the cone.
