How the Hi-Tech Vortex Gun with Brush Cone Works

Inside the white air cone, a flexible, counter-weighted tube whips around when you squeeze the trigger, so the air covers a much wider area than a straight stream from a regular blow gun. It lifts moisture and dirt off the surface and moves it where you want it to go, in a controlled way.

The Hi-Tech Vortex gun with brush cone runs on an air compressor operating between 60 and 90 psi and connects with a 1/4″ air inlet. A trigger-style valve controls how much air comes out, and the compact gun gets into tight spaces in the interior and engine bay. How to Use It

Connect the Hi-Tech Vortex gun with brush cone to your compressor hose and set the compressor between 60 and 90 psi. Use the air cone to blast and dry, and switch to the brush cone for dusting and delicate areas. Work in sweeping passes, then vacuum up the debris you blow out into the open.

On old vintage cars, start with the air pressure turned down. Wear eye and ear protection, since the gun is made to blast debris out of tight spaces.

To clean the gun, put the nozzle in a bucket of soapy water and squeeze the trigger once or twice to flush dirt out of the cone.
