The same 54mm cap came on most first- and second-generation MINIs from 2002 to 2016, including the Cooper hatchback, Cooper S, JCW, Convertible, Clubman, Coupe, Roadster, Countryman, and Paceman. If one of your caps is faded, cracked, or missing, this set of four puts a clean black face with chrome “MINI” lettering back on every wheel.
They’re genuine MINI parts, stamped with part number 36131171069 on the back and made in Germany. How to Install MINI Wheel Center Caps
- Pry the old cap out gently from the edge with a plastic trim tool so you don’t scratch the wheel. If the wheel is off the car, you can also push the old cap out from the back side of the wheel.
- Wipe the center bore clean with a microfiber towel.
- Line up the clips with the bore.
- Push the cap in by hand until it seats.
