This car was previously on display at the Rick Hendrick Collection, as well as the Fred Noyes Collection. It was also just displayed at the entrance to the “Exotic On Los Olas ” Annual car Show In Fort Lauderdale, Florida. This November. It was the marque attraction out of the 200-plus exotic cars. Which featured some of the most exotic automobile car shows in South Florida.
Rick Hendrick commissioned this rare build, which was one of the first Karl Kustom Corvettes produced ( #005 ) of approximately 75. The Karl Kustom Corvette was designed specifically for those who wanted a modern split-window Corvette. Starting with a brand new Corvette, Karl Kustom replaces nearly all the body panels with high-quality components engineered with all of the modern features and benefits of technology and safety. With the stunning looks of the 1963 split-window coupe and the comfort, handling, braking, and power of the modern Corvette. Makes this a truly amazing vehicle.
Under the hood lies a GM 376cu in LS3 Supercharged, producing 599hp. Married to a 6-speed auto transmission 6L80 with steering-mounted paddle shifters. In addition to the interior, the seats were custom-designed for that low-back look from just the 63 C2. The door panels are custom as well to reflect the same design flair as the famed 63 model. All new red carpet was installed. The bottom half of the dash was done in red to tie in with the door panels. The interior of This automobile also features the most desired 3LT package: Heads-up display, dual-zone automatic climate control, navigation, power heated seats, and much more.
Still new with inky 750 original miles This rare retro classic also includes 2 sets of wheels.1 set Z06 chromed wheel on Goodyear Eagle Fi Tires and the 2nd set of one-off fined with knockoff center covers wrapped around custom-made Red Line Nitto Invo tires.
